By using the HeartCall application ("App"), you agree to accept the following terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the App.

HeartCall is an emergency heart rate monitoring application developed and provided by Selcora Mobile ("We", "Our"). The App works integrated with Apple Watch to monitor users' heart rate and send notifications in case of emergency.

2. Service Definition

2.1. What is HeartCall?

HeartCall is a health monitoring application that offers the following features:

  • Real-time heart rate monitoring through Apple Watch
  • Automatic alert system when abnormal heart rate is detected
  • Automatic SMS and call sending to emergency contacts
  • GPS location sharing
  • Health history records

2.2. Not a Medical Device

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING:

HeartCall is not a medical device and does not provide professional medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. This app does not replace 112 or other emergency service numbers for medical emergencies.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1. Appropriate Use

As a user, you agree that:

  • You are over 18 years old or using with legal guardian permission
  • You will provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • You have entered emergency contact information correctly
  • You will use the app only for legal purposes
  • You will avoid misuse of the app

3.2. Health and Safety

  • HeartCall is not an emergency service - call 112
  • Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice
  • It is recommended to consult your doctor before using the app
  • If you have permanent medical devices (pacemaker, etc.), inform your doctor

3.3. Apple Watch Requirements

HeartCall requires Apple Watch Series 4 or newer to work fully. For the heart rate sensor to work properly, the watch must be in proper contact with your wrist.

4. Service Usage and Limits

4.1. Rate Limiting

The following limits are applied to prevent service abuse:

  • Emergency notifications: Maximum 5 notifications per hour
  • Location sharing: Maximum 5 shares per hour
  • SMS sending: Maximum 3 messages per hour
  • Making calls: Maximum 3 calls per hour

4.2. Membership Types

Free Trial: First 7 days free, access to all features

Premium Membership: Monthly or annual subscription options

Subscription Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from App Store settings

5. Data Collection and Usage

5.1. Collected Data

HeartCall collects the following data:

  • Heart rate data (from Apple Health)
  • GPS location information (in emergencies)
  • Emergency contact information
  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • Usage statistics

5.2. Data Security

All your data is stored on encrypted servers and is GDPR compliant. For detailed information, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer

6.1. Medical Responsibility

HeartCall IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. The app does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for all health decisions.

6.2. Service Warranty

The app is provided "as is". No warranty is given regarding the following:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Detection of all emergencies
  • Notifications always being delivered
  • GPS location always being accurate
  • Internet connection always being available

6.3. Third-Party Services

HeartCall uses third-party services such as Twilio for SMS and call sending. We do not accept responsibility in case of interruption of these services.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The HeartCall application, its design, logo and content belong to Selcora Mobile and are protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized copying, distribution or modification is prohibited.

8. Account Termination and Cancellation

8.1. Cancellation by User

You can delete your account anytime from within the app or App Store settings. Account deletion permanently deletes all your data.

8.2. Termination by Service Provider

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following cases:

  • Violation of terms of use
  • Abuse of service
  • Providing false information
  • Illegal activities

9. Changes to Terms of Use

We reserve the right to update these terms of use at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the new terms.

11.1. Governing Law

These terms of use are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes will be resolved in Turkish courts.
